We are proud to present this stylish Patek Philippe Calatrava watch for sale in mint condition.
Since its inception in the early 1930’s the Calatrava has set the benchmark for clean elegant watches and has been slowly evolving over the last 90 years to become the symbol for what we think of as a dress watch. Elegance in simplicity sums up the design and that simple 2 or 3 hand watch with elegant hands and clean hour markers has made it a favourite of many watch enthusiasts the world over.
Borrowing inspiration from the early Patek reference 96 model, this is the stunning reference 5296R. This version is set in a modern 38mm solid 18ct rose gold case with a smooth polished bezel. The dial is a stunning matte silver finish and is split into two-sectors. The outer sector records split seconds and 60minutes (at 5 minute intervals), whilst the inner sector indicates hours and minutes only. The dial is finished off with a date window at 3 o’clock and the blue steel leaf-shaped handset. The dial is protected by a domed sapphire crystal glass and is powered by the Patek calibre 324 SC automatic movement, which is visible through an exhibition caseback. The watch comes fitted on its original brown alligator leather strap with an 18ct rose gold Patek pin-buckle.
Originally purchased in November 2018 and in mint as new condition, this Calatrava comes with its original inner and outer boxes, leather booklet, all three booklets, instruction manual and international warranty certificate. This model was discontinued in 2019 and would be a great piece for any Patek enthusiast.
