Description

This Rare Patek Philippe Ref. 5960R-012 Annual Calendar, Chronograph Fly Back Is Complete. Accompanied with its original certificate of origin dated 2013, instructional manual, swing tag, setting pin and presentation box. This rare rose gold annual calendar chronograph was produced with the black dial for only one year. This example is in excellent condition with crisp and legible hallmarks.

The 5960P-012 annual calendar automatic watch, features a 40.5 mm case. This is a rose gold example with black dial, a new Patek Philippe black calf strap and rose gold deployant buckle. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, month, day, date, flyback chronograph, and 60-minute and 12-hour mono counter and power reserve.

Launched in 2006 at the Basel Fair, the wristwatch houses Patek Philippes first in-house chronograph caliber and sets the stage for future development using caliber 28-520. In its current form, as used in Ref. 5960P, it has an annual calendar combined with hour and minute recorder on the same subsidiary dial. The two times 30-minute register is used in conjunction with the aperture at the 6 o'clock position indicating if the minutes are in the first or second 30.
