Description |
IWC Portuguese Chrono-Automatic Laureus Blue Stainless Steel Limited Edition for 'Laureus Sport For Good" Children's Foundation.
The 40.9mm diameter solid three-body case, curved lugs, and thin rounded bezel, are polished. The case is paired with a blue dial with dauphine hands, and a center sweep chronograph hand. The Blue dial features applied silver Arabic hour numerals, and an outer white dot minute/second scale. Around the perimeter is a fraction-of-a-second scale on a white reserve, with Arabic numerals every 5-minute/seconds. There are two recessed blue subsidiary dials with white Arabic numerals, markers, and blued indicator hands, including a running small seconds register at 6 o'clock, and a 30-minute chronograph totalizer at 12 o'clock. It's water resistant to 30 meters/100 feet, it has a 44-hour power reserve at full wind, and the 13mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed. It's fitted on an alligator leather strap with a stainless steel tongue buckle, and a domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. It has a pull-out winding crown, and round "mushroom" chronograph push buttons. There is a solid intricately engraved limited edition case back secured with 4 screws. Limited and numbered to an exclusive 2000 pieces worldwide. This Portuguese 3714 Chronograph has a self-winding movement and was introduced following five years of research and development. The engine begins as the ultra-durable and accurate IWC 79350 Calibre movement with Côtes de Genève perlage. It oscillates at 28,800 vibrations every hour, has 31 jewels and a 44-hour power reserve, sunken minutes and seconds indicators, a bidirectional Pellaton winding mechanism, and a balance with the ultra-precision Breguet balance spring. It's rhodium plated with oeil-de-perdrix and cotes de Geneve embellishment, and it's constructed with 272 Components, a straight-line lever escapement, and a monometallic balance adjusted to temperature and 5 positions. There is an anti-shock device, a self-compensating flat balance spring, and a hacking seconds mechanism for precision time setting. Reference No. IW371432 |
