Description

This watch is in excellent condition.

Watch comes with original box, outer box, instruction booklet, certificate of authenticity, limited series card, pictogram card and dated warranty card.

The Omega Speedmaster is one of the most recognisable chronograph designs ever produced. NASA chose the Speedmaster over other chronographs (including Rolex's Daytona) as its official watch for space exploration. It got the name of "Moonwatch" after it accompanied astronauts on the Apollo 11 mission, which brought the first ever humans to the moon.

Unlike some of its competitors, Omega has hardly changed the overall aesthetic and functionality of the watch. This means that relatively little separates today's modern Speedmaster from the very watch that went to the moon.

This reference was created to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 15 mission.

OMEGA

Omega is in the unique position of being perhaps the most versatile out of all the watchmakers currently still in operation. Its product lineup includes dive watches, automatic and manual chronographs, as well haute joaillerie works of art. The brand has even demonstrated its high-end watchmaking capabilities by creating complications such as the tourbillon.

Omega's story goes further than just its watches, however. The brand has had a long and rich history of being called upon in times of need, and has sold watches to everyone from the British Royal Flying Corps during the First World War to NASA during the Space Race. More recently, Omega has been known as the exclusive supplier of watches to James Bond.
